Re: class oppression, will people always be "flawed"?

cronyism and corporate antiworker policies are the biggest fuckin cancer in capitalism. whatever fucking happend to merit? i guess people will always be flawed and we dont deserve any kind of system.

My response:

I can certainly understand this sentiment, but I think that is to basically throw in the towel, when really, this system is historically contingent, impermanent, and unsustainable (certainly not able to last forever, since it is already damaging the basis for life severely). People have no natural, inescapable flaw that drives them to accumulate capital, employ wage workers, etc, none of this is inevitable or invincible. Being a human construction, every feature of capitalism and capitalism in its totality can be resisted and changed by human beings. Dare to struggle, dare to win...
